Bebs brings a unique combination of professional playing experience, coaching education, and academic insight to the club. He played professional soccer in the Championnat de La Réunion de football in Réunion, France, competing in a football culture that emphasized technical quality, discipline, and tactical awareness.
As a coach, Bebs is U.S. Soccer grassroots certified across all formats (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11). He is also SafeSport certified, as well as CPR and First Aid certified
In addition to his on-field experience, Bebs holds B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. He has served as a college professor for more than 15 years and has conducted academic research on the economic, social, and societal benefits of participation in youth soccer. This background informs a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to youth soccer development that balances structure, creativity, and enjoyment.
